I use a tascam porta 03. I need 6 tracks to work with so I have to record the 4 tracks into my computer then record them back into the porta 03 so that i have 2 more tracks to work with. When I record into the computer, I hear a very loud hiss. So I use noise reduction software to filter out the hiss but after I do that, half of the sound quality is lost. At first I thought it was ok so I recorded from the computer into the porta 03. then I worked with the two remaining tracks. I finished the song on the porta 03 but i needed to put the finished song on my computer. So again there was a loud hiss when I recorded into my computer. I filtered out the hiss and half of the sound quality was lost again. When i listened to the song on the computer, I realized that the quality really sucked. If I solve this problem about the hiss, I don't have to worry about losing the sound quality twice and the song would sound perfectly. I've tried about everything, connecting from headphone jack to line in, RCA out to line in. What Should I do??
