yes you can record a full band with this, will everything be seperated once you get to the computer? no. you'll have to mix it down and live track it.

mixing down mean mastering right?, how do u seperate everything?. i was given the impression that you assign each track (of the mixer) into cubase, hence having everything on separate tracks..

???

thanks

You'd have everything on separate tracks, yes, but i believe laststarttoshine was simply saying that the tracks would bleed together a TON. Unless you were able to isolate every instrument in a separate, soundproof room and still record all at the same time, you would have bits of guitar on your drum tracks, bass on your vocals, etc. A better bet would be recording each instrument one at a time. Are you going to be using the Cubase LE software that comes with that mixer?

(cut and pasted from the thread about the Phonic mixer)

You've posted what's basically the same fucking question in five forums on this board in the last few days.

Just because you phrase it a little differently doesn't make it any less a crosspost.

I was tipped off by seeing that same Phonic mixer in two different forums.

Post once in the most appropriate forum, then have the courtesy and the good sense to wait until someone who knows the answer has the time to post back.
