I've got a live video tape recorded onto, this will really date me, a superbeta
tape. The guy recording it did it on a mono camcorder. The guitars, this was a four piece 2 guitars, bass and drums and 3 vocals. Here's the dilemma. The guitars and vocals and drums come thru pretty good but there's absolutely no bass guitar.........Any bassists out there. Sorry for being so long winded. I want to transfer the tape to a DVD recorder, but I want to process it before transfer. I recently bought a yamaha 16 track digital recorder with built in mixer, eg, cr recorder etc. Can I use the yamaha between the Beta and the DVD recorder to boost the bass signal and possibly replicate a stereo image. I'm an old school analog recorder and hope some of the new generation of recordists can help me............Damn out of breath...LOL
