Hahaha, great song, very funny... You know, everything sounds very good, when you use a few instruments like in this song, you could make them a little bigger/fatter, to feel them, the guitars have a nice melody, so if they are bigger, that melody will be actually heard, cause right now is just like a riff, don't know if i you get what i'm trying to say.

Anyway, it's a classic punk rock song, well recorded and mixed. Congrats!

Listening on a laptop so hard to get down to any level of detail, but there is certainly plenty of energy, it's catchy and it's fun.

This is a great recording!!! It reminds of Paul Gilbert's poppy solo stuff. Everything sounds great. The guitars could be a little fatter, but it's not a big deal. The lyrics are funny too. How do you record your vocals? (Process, equipment, etc.)

Thanks dude. Yeah I think I know what you mean. I went back and forth with the guitar sound. At first, it was really clean and jangly because I was gonna go more "rockabilly" with it. Then I decided to just go fuzzy. I might track more guitars tomorrow to fatten it up some.

The CD is in the works. Actually, I've spent jillions of hours on it this summer. Mostly with minor tweaks and "mastering". Pain in the ass. Should be ready this fall.

Thanks man. I don't do much to my vocals. I just "sing" em. About the fanciest thing I do is use a de-esser because my AT2020 cheapo mic is a little bright and my sibilance comes through. Then a little compression to tame my wongo enunciation, a hint of delay, and a pinch of reverb. Mix to tatse. Nothing fancy.

Yeah, I'll let everyone know. I've been getting a lot of questions about it lately. I'm flattered and humbled that anyone gives a shit. I've still got to do the cover art and finish "mastering" the damn thing, so it's still a little ways off, but it's getting close. I've remixed/remastered the thing 9 times now, just nitpicking, so I'm about at the end of my rope.

Thanks Ray. I guess the Ramones influence is so ingrained in me that I can't even tell if I'm sounding like them. I don't intentionally try to sound or write songs like them. It just comes out. I sure don't mind though.

Moving forward, G, I'd keep watch on the overall bite of the mix (in particular, the wall of gits) ... and the freq pile up in it's upper mid range section (cymbals etc ...) -- for my wince meter runs a little high on this; as well as perhaps adding more depth and punch to the drums.

You'd have it all dialed in about right, then.

I did forget to mention, the vox are excellent (as usual), and that lead section is quite killer.
