I would like a bit of guidance on how to set up my equipment so I can hear the vocals and music (from my PC) through the headphones at the same time, but then record the vocals back on the PC.

If you're not familiar with the kit, the Xenyx Mixer (and Mic preamp) can be seen here. http://www.behringer.com/802/index.cfm?lang=eng

The audiophile here http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/Audiophile2496-main.html

I'm using the Rode NT1-A Condenser Mic.

I also have a separate Amplifier for my monitors.

Any help would be really appreciated! Thanks.

Hook the output of your soundcard to the "tape in" on the mixer. YOu can use a stereo channel on the mixer as well but since it doesn't have a mute function, you probably don't want that. Then hook your main outs to the input on your soundcard. That will get your computer setup to the mixer.

Then for your moniters, hook them up to the control room outs. Then you can moniter your music. And headphones to the headphone jack.
