Help with this

I didntknow if someone else asked this and couldnt go through all the post...ima rapper and alot of times im in my studio by myself and i wanna punch in not re do a whole verse if i fuck up and on pro tools LE8 i cant figure out how to do the thing where like, for example---I mess up and i go to the comp (thats away from the mic) find the spot where i messed up, and then set it up so when i go back to the mic and put on the headphones and record i heard a few bars before the mess up spot and without having to press a button right when it comes to the spot where it messes up it automatically starts recording and i can just start rapping.....

I need to know how to do this on pro tool LE 8 please.

I think you are talking about the pre roll. I think that is what it is called. Not sure how to do it. Try a Google search.
