Help with this, please??

It's a doubled guitar track, with a lot of harmonics. I just don't seem to get anything useful out of it. ...Without turning it to black-metal anyhoo... My basslines or EZdrummertracks appear overwhelming...

Got ideas anyone??


 
very nice piece here. Could be used as an intro to a song maybe? I like it! Use of the harmonics worked nicely here.

Yeah cool feel in the stereo image there. The harmonics sound nice. Yeah it feels like it's leading up to something, but never gets there. I could hear a verbed electric guitar lead melody coming in and soaring over the middle of the stereo field (maybe at the same time as some drums) with a bit of synth added before that happens to build up to it. Thinking kind of along the lines of the intro and first verse of Hell's Kitchen by dream theater before it goes crazy. This kinda gives me that vibe. Anyway, good luck with whatever it turns into, sounds like a good start :cool:

Hmmm... Yeah, it definetly seems like an overture.:D
Too bad I can't use keyboards..hmm.. How's this:
-some waves crashing into a shore...
-a guitar-lead on top of that..
-hi-hat or other "mild" drums and bass...

Maybe I'll use the bass to build up into the actual song, which of, I have no clue yet.:confused:
I've got a tattooing job in a couple of hours, after that I'll start doodling around.
