Help with Sample Tank 3 and Prottools

I am trying to set up my IRig Keys Pro midi controller to play into my protools session so that I can record midi data. I have followed all the correct steps for set up but for some reason I can not hear the keys outside of using Sample Tank 3. I suspect I am missing links in either how to set up the input and output channels or how to connect sample tank and my Irig Keys into Protools properly, can anyone give my some advice?
 
You need to give more detail. How do you have it connected at the moment?
