Hi there,
I am having an issue with figuring out how to get the sound to show up on my Studio One Song board.

I am pretty new to the software and only get to use it every 4-6 months when I sit down to record the songs I've written. Pitiful, I know.

I have a Korg M3. I have the Audiobox. I am plugged in with one cable in the front right of the box, headphones in the headphone jack, and the USB is connected to the proper USB port in my laptop.

I open up a new song in Studio One and - when I strike the keys....NOTHING. No sound.

It happens to me every time...and you'd think that I'd be smart enough to write down what I need to do - but I haven't. The PreSonus help folks are closed today and I REALLY need to get this recording going - I don't have much free time and this is it!

Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Stefani

There should be a way to select the AudioBox as input/output device in Studio One.

EDIT: Page 11 in the Quick Start Guide tells you how.

Manuals « Studio One

Also, you need to turn the volume on your keyboard way down if you're plugging it into the AudioBox.

Thank you for your quick response! I have the Audiobox selected. My volume is way down (not all the way) - the green bars do not even register that there is sound coming in. I've looked through the manual and I just can't figure out what I am doing wrong. :(
SO frustrated.

Thanks so much,
Stefani

Do the red clipping LEDs on the Presonus light up when you turn the input levels up and play the keyboard?

I use Studio One with external instruments...i remember there being something different to my other daws to record them...im out just now but i should be able to have a look and talk you through it tomorrow

Thank you!

Yes! The red clipping lights show up - but when I press the keys, nothing happens! I don't hear the sound through my headphones either.

Thanks!
Stefani

The red clipping lights appear as soon as I plug it into the box. I have everything turned way down also....

They don't stay on when you're not playing the keyboard, do they?

They are not lit up when the box is unplugged. When I plug the box in (my keyboard volume almost completely down), the red boxes appear. If I hit keys, the green bars do not appear and there is no sound coming into my headphones. The red boxes stay lit unless I click on them and then they go away.
Thanks!
Stefani
