Well i sat for 6 hours today trying everything i could to try and get the controller keyboard installed. I can get the pc to pick it up and install it which is good and well but then i need to open up the Korg usb driver.

I open it up it picks up the korg then i click install and then it gives me the digital driver signing which i am told to click continue and then it goes to install and just sits there....untill i turn off the keys then it installs but when i turn on the keys it won't work. Obviously because i have turned of the keys when i was trying to install the korg usb.

Ive tried everything, every time it dosen't work i get rid of everything and start again but everytime i try something different its the same and most other programs i try to open won't open until i turn off the keys. Ive also tried different usb ports and nothing.

The pad KONTROL i got today installs the same way using the same usb software i had put on the computer for the keys. It installed fine and is up and runing but the keys are a different story alltogether.

Anyone have any ideas?

Oh once the keys have been plugged in ans windows installs it, they seem to work with reason but not with the MIDI controlelr editor that came with it or the korg legacy stuff. I tried connecting it via MIDI cables instead but the editor software didn't seem to work with that. Will try the MIDI cable method tommorw on a fresh keys install.

HELP!

Thought i had it there, everything seemed to install fine, so i restarted with the keys turned on and when windows restarted it sat ata black screen then when i turned off thekeys the welcome screen was infront of me and the desktop loaded up.

i turned the keys back on and the pc picked up the keys as an unknown device and said that the unknown device had been installed then another bubble appeared saying it hasen't been installed proplery and won't work.

*EDIT*

Seem to be working now the only problem is i can't turn the pc on with the keys turned on becuause when windows loads up it tries to install again and fucks up, but if i turn on once windows has loaded it seems to work apart from opening certian things.

Once turned on, if i go to control panel and try to load up system and click device manager then hardware profiles, it will just sit there untill i turn the keys off then my pc's hardware will appear on screen. It seems to be a problem with the korg usb keys driver.

Any ideas on how to make the usb driver and my pc work together?
