help with baseline

i dont have any knowledge of music.......so is it possible to make baseline for a song myself.....are there any tutorials for dat( useful)......
or any trick to make baseline?
 
Its possible, but a knowledge of music will help there is no magic button or great answer,
 
i'm trying to get some music knowledge......but until then....is there way ...that what melody should follow n how?

what equipment do you have? what genre do you like
 
Well, if we are talking about "bassline", then you can usually get away with having the bass play the same root notes the other instruments are playing without doing anything fancy.

Well, that is certainly one way to look at it.
You can always tell a bassist (me) when they look at music from the low end. :facepalm:

Get some musical knowledge first. You can do that in 3 hours. Once you know how to put a little tune together, things like basslines are pretty simple.
By the way, do you sing or play an instrument ?
 
And basically what I tell everyone who wants to play the keys without knowing how is--stick to the white keys. Seriously :)

If you're making a bass line for hip hop, then just noodle around on em! If it gets boring after a while, then that's when you start throwing in the occasional black key!

hey bro can u provide me good links for dat.....i mean 3 hours is not a bad deal....but me not getting any good stuff.....
n i play nothing will learne keyboard...
 
It might take you a bit longer sunshine, I'm not sensing a natural affinity or you might have gone away and learnt something by now before posting again...

Whoops. Mustn't tease the noobs... humblest etc.
 
It's easy if your doing original music but if your wanting to do cover material than your fooked until you learn the craft.
