Hey guys, I have been reading up on acoustics, panels, bass traps, etc for the last few days and was hoping to get some direction/tips from you on what would be needed to kill the airy sound my studio room produces at this point. I have included a link to a video of the room - so you can take a look, and tell me what you think! I'm on a tight budget, so keep that in mind. Thanks in advance.

Video of my future studio HERE.

Very interesting room. I've never seen a room like that. Where are you from?

First things first, where do you plan on having your desk?

I'm located in Orlando.

As for the desk, I'm thinking of putting it on that raised stage.

Cool man, How are you going to sit though? haha

Can you give the dimensions of the room?

I remember my father video taped a house a long time ago, as I wasn't able to be with them to look at new houses. When I saw the house in person, I was astonished at how much smaller it actually was!

You might want to turn the room 90 degrees. lol

Lots of bass traps man. That looks like a really small space, though hard to judge with the video.

You should make a drawing with dimensions, then take a photo of that. :)

It would definitely be easier to give better suggestions with dimensions (as well as non-sideways videos...)

That nook looks like it will certainly be a problem acoustically and setting up on that stage area will smear your symmetry and stereo image. The best spot seems to be set up on the opposite side of the room from that, but the door is in the way so that isn't very practical. Can the stage/step up are be removed?

Im located in Orlando Florida.

I'll get the dimensions up for you guys tonight.

I'm not sure why the video is showing sideways, I didn't film it that way.
