Help Wanted: Smokin country-rock players only

Dude, you realize you got yourself a tele-schecter. :D I've been looking at guitars and the schecters are nice. A bit expensive.

You are very much forgiven, and I am very much humbled by the Holy Grail of Gibsons!! :cool: :cool: :cool: Are those both Customs? Gold hardware is so cool! I definitely shrunk my pictures way too small, I need to get the properties figured out for posting.

Pictures can be no larger than 64.0kb if posted directly into this site otherwise you can use a host like photobucket! :)

Just listened to "True's Tales: and it blew me away - DavidK you are indeed the King of Edits. Really like what you did with the vocals and special effects.

The fiddle is going in today. Its not going to be much, lil cameos here and there to make it sound authentic, but not too much fiddle in this one.

My friend Cindy has heard both and LOVES em both,she profusely thanks everybody. This must be very exciting for her to hear something she wrote in different ways. As I said, she is a classical french hornist and is the opposite of every word in this song.

In the end we will have two versions, male and female. I will add the fiddle today and maybe tonite Gorty will have more guitar licks but what he has is great already. I am gonna use one or two of Tonys licks as well. :cool:

Hey DavidK,

I have re-tracked and I think the licks are phrased and executed a lot better with the guidelines of the real vocals to work with. I am definitely a lot happier with my efforts tracking with the actual vocals in place, it allowed me to enter and exit with the licks and have them slotted in the little pockets throughout the song.
I am at work at the moment and I will post them up in approx 6 hours from this post. I re-tracked the intro lick and the solo as well, I will leave it up to you which versions you want to use.
I think the re-tracking was well worth the effort.

I'm glad Cindy likes the tune, and a big cheers and thumbs up to all who have put their efforts forward in making this tune happen.....I'm having FUN!! :)

I may start a new thread to announce this to the world who havent followed it since we are done. We will maybe get some helpful miximg advice then regroup ans go back and fix. I wanna have it nailed..
 
just wanna say you been doing a great job with editing and mixing David. Both versions sound cool and I wish I just had s small portion of your editing/mixing skills ;)

Hey DavidK,

Here is the re-tracked guitar lines and solo mixed with the *No solo's for Gorty* mix you made for me!

This is with Cincy's vocals, if you want me to re-track another file specifically to True's vocals I can do that. The two vocal tracks may have slightly different lenghts in the phrasing!

I am posting the individual guitar file as I type!
