I have the perfect bass on my NL3 however after I play a few notes the sound gets quieter. What going on? How can I fix this?

Info you can use...
Trim the notes in your editing screen so they don't overlap.
Even if the synth is capapable of polyphonic sounds bass sounds are frequently programmed as monophonic patches. That means any one note overlapping the next will sound funny --- sometimes killing volume, sometimes sliding into the next note making a general mess out of your bassline.
Lifting your finger off of one note before you hit the next is the sure cure.
