Hey,
Just a quick question I'm hoping SOMEONE can help me with, any input is appreciated:
I recently purchased an Alesis F2 expression pedal for use with my Alesis Micron. All I want to do is to be able to assign a parameter to it (much like you would any of the other control knobs on the unit), which I figured wouldn't be too difficult since I have decent knowledge of editing the programs. I can get it to do that much, however it also affects the VOLUME of the sound I am using. For example: when the pedal is pressed all the way down it is at maximum volume AND the mod/pitch/effect is also maxed. When the pedal is lifted all the way up the volume is completely off, and I would presume that the effect is too. Kinda defeats the purpose of what I bought it for.
possible clue: the F2 said to use a TRS cable with it, however, page 7 of the micron booklet shows a diagram of a TS cable plugging into the expression jack on the back of the unit.
