B bigtoe New member May 17, 2005 #27 "for the more aggressive vox you may want to try either an ev re-20, or a sure sm-7, both used a lot for rap, aggressive vox." i second this. the sm7 would be my first up...the re20 second...but both versatile enough to handle either/or singer. get a pl20 for 150 or so used...same mic as the re20…half the carbs.
