Uad plugin help, audio doubled

Hi guys I'm using a universal audio apollo 8 duo, when trying to record in my DAW (Pro tools 12) i hear my voice doubled. One output from pro tools the other from the UAD console. Now is there a way to only having one output from my headphone while still applying the live plugins from the UAD console using my apollo's duo processors? Thank you

You will need a PT specialist to advise you. However, you have identified that you are using both hardware monitoring (via apollo), and software monitoring (via PT).

If you want to monitor PT effects live, then the simplest solution is to turn off the hardware monitoring. However, you wold have then to deal with whatever latency is inherent in software monitoring.
