Help needed

I think im getting pod xt live in a week or 2. I want to use that as my head bascially. So, would i need a poweramp?

Is there a place that sells decent cabs for cheep?

I want a 4x12. So i would guess a pod-poweramp-cab.

Anyone have some advice?

that sounds right. that probably wont produce such a hot tone however. If you must tho, carvin makes some descent stuff. www.carvin.com I would get a poweramp from them, and either a mesa boogie cabinet or marshall.

To answer your initial question... yes, you will need a power amp. If you're planning on using the POD I would suggest a Solid State amp that will reproduce your POD settings without coloring the sound. A SS amp will also cost you a lot less than a tubed counterpart.
