I am not your typical member on HomeRecording but, I love to make music.
Sequencing wise, I only understand yesterdays Cakewalk/Awe 64.
Yesterdays Print Music-20004.
I do not make music for a living.
The music I write goes on Jango Radio.

I make music because it has been my hobby for
over ten years. When I run out of good stuff
I will find something else to do.

Now here is my discussion topic.
I am tired of going to the studio paying big bucks
to lay down all my tracks in the studio when I
would rather come to the studio with the four
tracks ready to mix in analog or digital form.

Equipment I have:
Motif Classic Keyboard-having problems understanding it
Superscope 300
*Fostex MR8- Multitracker
Yamaha 100 Speaker
*Hi-Hat

If your studio engineer did not understand the non-USB Motif
Classic and did not like to add percussions to your music what
would you do with this equipment to save yourself
a buck? And stop being frustrated about how you would put
out your next song.

*I don't know how to use these yet.

What would you do with this equipment if you were me?

So you make electronic music? And pay to lay down tracks? Yikes.

If all you use is the Motif, why don't you record your own stuff on the Fostex? Learn how to use it, you bought it, what else are you going to do with it?

Don't understand your last question about adding percussion and "understanding" the Motif. It's a keyboard isn't it? Plug the outs to the ins and hit record.

Are you referring to the MIDI ins and outs?
Oh and I am into writing mostly easy-listening instrumental pop.

Thanks.
