Help needed please

I have just purchased a Zoom HD8. (It came direct from Japan via a mate who was visiting.) It has no CD burner in it and I was wondering what to use. I have been onto the Zoom distributor here in Aus and they said use a Lite-On or Asus normal CD-R/RW burner. I have been onto the local computer shop where I live and apparently they do not make these anymore
I am thinking it would be ok to use any brand as long as it's a CR-R/RW. I would rather run this by a lot more knowledgable people than make the decision myself. Can anyone out there give me a heads up on this ?

Just an add on......can you use a CD/DVD burner ?

you can hook it up to your computer, if that has a cd burner on it.

Yeah it does but I want to have it all together in one unit. The puter is just a laptop and not a very good one.

Thanks to whoever put the link on the "Asus" in my original post...much appreciated.....I have got a hold of a Samsung CD-R/RW so all is good
