Help mixing rap vocals cubase 6 elements!

Hi guys thanks for the help..yeah heres a upload of the wav am working with..basically i've got the whole project saved on cubase 6..but my managers saying the song sounds so tinny..so i need you guys help with making me get it sounding right :)
 
this is a link to the song am working on..am trying to get it right..my vocals were recorded on the se x1 electronics mic and the backing is a mp3 instrumental..right now they got izotope alloy and nectar on them with compression and ive got eq..
then ive grouped the channels to stereo and got mono to stereo light wide effect on and compression light master..Download Love Ya 8.wav from Sendspace.com - send big files the easy way
 
Had a quick listen there, Master.
It's hard to listen to because it's heavily over compressed and it's really lacking in bass.

Would you consider sending me the raw backing and the raw vocals in a zip or something?
No effects at all, just the raw, separate tracks.
 
yeah of course man :) ..and do you think? oh perhaps thats what am doing wrong

I'm not a pro, so my answer isn't the be-all, but it'd be interesting to see if I (or someone) can achieve what you're looking for.
