I have am M-box and protools

my budget is only 370 dollars.just a system at home to do some music arrangements. my space is so small that i cant have big monitors.
so i am looking for small active speakers for my desk

I d like to have a good sound with good bass response,
i went to the store and i liked the sound of the samson acive monitors.

BUT!!!!!!!

i need some advice between the resolve 65 (6.5 bass cone) and the resolve
2.1 system that includes two resolve 50 and a subwoofer (the samson sc -88)

please some people say that a 2.1 system is not a good idea for mixing.

another says that bass phase coherence is better with only two speakers with bigger bass cones.

PLEASE FOLKS can anybody give me some light in my decision?

i thought about the wharfedales monitors but here in miami neither samash or guitar center carrie that brand.

Best Regards

I'd go for a plain old 2-speaker system. Ultimately, the people who listen to your music are going to be listening on 2 speakers, no sub-woofer, right?
