I'm stuck between getting these three

Golden age project pre-73
Buy Golden Age Project Pre-73 Preamp | Microphone Preamps | Musician's Friend

Univerisal audio 710
Buy Universal Audio 710 Twin-Finity Single Channel Tube and Solid State Mic Preamp and DI | Microphone Preamps | Musician's Friend

FMR RNP
Amazon.com: FMR RNP Microphone Preamp: Musical Instruments

I'm on a budget so these three were recommended to me. I've researched thoroughly on each but can't make up my mind

The Golden age is the cheapest, and i've heard really good reviews about it
The FMR has two inputs
and the UA you can drive the imput stage and switch between solid state and tube sound

Any opinions on these three preamps?

I have gap and rnp and experience with ua. I'd go rnp 1st as a general purpose pre. Everything sounds good through it. Clean and clear and nice. GAP gets colored and would be my second choice for you.

But it all depends on what you want to do with it and use it for. All three are way different. I just don't care for the ua too much for the price. You could actually get RNP and GAP for about the price of the UA that's what I'd do, and have done!

thanks!

I've heard the gap gets colored and that was my last choice, though i also heard you could reamp with this.

Well i'm sort of low budget (i use logics drum replacer to map out midi for superior drummer so no need for a live room, and axe-fx for all around guitar tone)
So really i need a general preamp to warm vocals, screams mostly, a natural tube sound to axe-fx without killing attack, and possible DI box.

Price aside, how would you rate the ua to the rnp and vice versa?
