Help me out with my setup

I have a 120 Crate amp ( I cant think of the model right now), and i LOVE the clean on it, its amazing, and the distortion is alright. I have a V-Amp 2, and I would like to use one of the models on it for distortion only. The thing is, on the V-Amp, there is a delay between switching the amp sound with the pedal. So is there an alternative? Thanks. - Tom

you could

split your signal from your guitar into two channels( like maybe froim the outputs of a Tuner like the Boss tu-2) , Get an A/B Box, run one channel staright from the guitar to the A/B box, then run the other channel to the Vamp and back into the A/B. Run the output from the A/B to your amp. When you want to change channel stomb and you A/B box and it will take care of the "channel switching" for you..........

of course this option could run you at least $150......
