Cant find one anywhere.. they are $122 new from Full Compass, the last used one on ebay went for $145 or so, hah!
Stupid Ebayers...
If you know where one is, let me know please!

They usually go anywhere between $100 to $150 on ebay, so you're not going to save a whole bunch of money or anything going that route, so you may as well go with the Full Compass deal.

BTW -- it's a really good sleeper piece of gear and a smart purchase.

I didn't get why they were only a hair cheaper used than new, and not so many either (maybe answers the first part). The guy at SamAsh talked me into a Roland MMP-2 for $129 instead. So far so good.

I find the opposite, they are slightly more expensive used... weird...

Hey Chessrock, how are the A/D converters compared to others you have used?
I know the D/A is reputed to be excellent. What about the clock? I'll proably clock it to the Delta 1010 for now.

Hey Tubedude,

Check your PM's.

The a/d is fine. Nothing glamorous. What makes this unit nice -- and the main reason the audio geeks clamor over it -- is because of the clock. You should always use it as your master.

Try hooking it up to the spidf inputs, bring up the Control panel, play some tunes, and try switching between the "Internal Xtal" and "S/PDIF IN." It's kind of a surprizing little eye-opener.
