Hi! I’m the new owner of a Korg Stage Echo se-500.
There’s a filter cap right where the AC line goes into the unit.
I am confused by its markings. Any help? I want to replace it because I doubt it’s doing its job anymore.
The schematic says .033 uF, voltage not listed.
Can someone tell me what capacitance and voltage would be appropriate? Also, this is a non-polarized film cap, right?
I’ll be sure to discharge the cap carefully before touching it!
Update: it’s a 250 volt Metalized Polypropylene safety capacitor. I still don’t know what to use to replace it.
