Help ! Home Studio 2002 upgrade is gicing me fits...

I just upgraded from 9.0 to h.s. 2002... I was very happy with 9.0. Drag and drop drummer worked well, recording was seamless... BTW, I am running both an Soundblaster Audigy (for games) and a midiman delta 66 w/ Omni Studio (for recording).

Now that I've installed 2002 some problems have started:
If I don't have the Audigy drivers selected in the Options/Audio tab, I get an error about "Can't buffer using the soundcard you have selected " or something like that. Also, when I am recording my guitar, there is about a one minute delay from the recording to the playback. The manual says that under the Options/Audio Advanced tab there is a checkbox for simultaneous record/playback. Well, this little jem does not show up! I've already unistalled and reinstalled once...Can anybody shed some light on my problems? (And please don't offer other recording programs as an option)

I am asuming the Delta 66 is a multi input card. HS2002 can only record off of one input at a time. It cannot do simultaneous multitrack/input recording. This may be one problem.

What OS are you using? You should really be using WDM drivers and only 98SE, ME, 2000 and XP support WDM drivers. Sonar and HS2002 work best with WDM drivers. That could account for your errors as well
 
Yes the Delta 66 is multiple input but that is not what I'm doing... I use Drag and Drop Drummer to paste in the drums first. Then I playmy guitar while recording and monitoring over the drums. That's 1 input at a time. This is exactly what I was doing in HS 9 and it worked perfectly. I can't imagine the UPGRADE would reduce limitations.

What really bothers me is this absense of the "Simultaneous Playback/Record" checkbox. It's driving me nuts! After I ordered the upgrade it took 12 f*in' days to receive it... I was really looking forward to this but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, God hates me ! He must hate my guitar playing ! Am I that shitty God? How about some Xmas spirit mutha*ucker!!! (s)

BTW, I'm using Windows 98se.
 
Are you using the latest drivers for the Delta 66? If not download them, install them and re-run the wave profiler.
