Hello.

I hope some one has some idea.

I am trying to change my recording software from cubase vst 5 to sx 3.

I found out that the Mod Delay effect in sx is not routed to left and right stereo outs properly. (every delay you hear is in the center of the stereo mix) it's not like it used to be in vst 32 (In vst 32 you hear them paned to left and right).

I have cheked and re checked. I did every thing according to the book.I am sure that the send effect channal I created and the default out channal are stereo. I have eaven tryed to change the routing setup in the effx channal but it won't do nothing unless you are using it for 5.1 mixes.
Any body with any solution with out bringing a 3rd party application? Or is that the only solution? If so please recomend.

Thanks!

Hello legionserial!

Thanks for the reply.

The delay is asigned on a sterio effect track. And I wanted to apply it on a mono track like vocals and Instruments. Usually I do this on cubase vst 5 and it sounds great paned accross the stereo mix.

Try sending the mono track to a stereo group track and adding the delay as an insert to that group track. Can't guarantee it'll work but it's worth a try.

call me crazy, but if you still have vst 5 on your computer you could look through the plugin folder of that version and take that version of mod delay over to your sx3 plugs folder.. that'd replace the whole plug and you'd essentially be using the old version unless i'm missing something

Thanks NinthHour!

I will try that. I will be amaized if that really works.

I will post the result soon.
