Help finding a recording (rare)

Maybe somebody here knows this and can help me out.
My drumming mentor was a wonderful drummer and teacher named Al Miller. I studied with him from 1963-1971. He was the teacher and mentor to many drummers. Unfortunately Al Miller passed away a couple of years ago after losing a battle with cancer. I talked with him on the phone every so often and he was very proud of his son who was the touring drummer for Blood, Sweat and Tears and he was also very proud that he himself had done a touring show with two old friends and idols of his, Buddy Rich and Louis Bellson. They each had their own Big Bands and the tour was called "The Three Drummers". He said he wanted to share his recording of it with me since I hadn't seen the show. Unfortunately I kept breaking the plans to have lunch with him because I was on the road so much and then the news came that he'd passed on.
Do any of you know if there was a recording made of this tour that is available? I know it wasn't released through a major label, I've checked. But I figured with the resources here and the varied experiences, somebody may know where I might be able to go and ask. I've completely lost touch with anyone that was connected to him, you know how things change.
Anybody know anything?

Thanks theLetterq, but no, that's not him. He was only born in the 1920's. He used to be a drummer with Cab Calloway and later with Xavier Cugat. His books on drumming technique are wonderful and still in production. His background was in military and rudimentary drumming and he enforced the importance of those basics on his students. I still refer to my old music books that I got from him. He was a great guy and a drummer in a league with Buddy Rich, Louis Bellson, Gene Krupa and so many other great "big band" drummers. His real name was Albert Milnerstadt , but he took the name Al Miller because it was easier for people to say.

Have you tried reaching his son Matt, or any of his other family members?
Perhaps they would make you a copy of any shows they may have.

Yes, I know it was a typo (small keyboard, big fingers, middle aged eyes) Milmerstadt.
Thanks for your help on contacting his son, Matt. I know he was incredibly proud of Matt and his accomplishments. That's all he ever talked about when I called. I only remember his son as a little child.

Hi, I am a little late (a few years) but I just saw this and thought I would reply. I am Al Miller's other son (Chris). I don't know if you ever got the chance to see a recording of that tour. I have a recording of it but it is not in a digital format yet.

He didn't pass from cancer, but from Atherosclerosis. His birth name is Alfred Milmerstadt.

He had hundreds of accomplished students over the years, most notably Rod Morgenstein, Liberty DeVito, Tom Brechlein, Dom Famularo, Arthor Von Blomberg, Frank Bellucci . . .
