Things have been a little tamer in here since DJL got banned. His rants against SP were legendary!
Does SP suck this week? Just trying to keep up.

Hey, beezelbubba, I checked out a couple of your tunes. I gotta hand it to ya, you have almost entirely eliminated that awful spectre of dynamic range from your recordings. There is still about a 2dB peak to average ratio, which I'm sure is the expectation these days in the metal genre. Ain't digital technology grand?

You talk funny!
There is a bit more variety of "dynamics" further down, not that you're interested.
BTW,can you hook us up with links to some of your multi db dynamics?
I'd be interested in hearing the work of an expert in db dynamics!

who the fuck are you calling hostile you arrogrant prick! :D :D :D

yeah i can get a tad hostile, usually in the best mic for under $20 threads.

your not a newbie, i see you here all the time..

stupid dickhead :D :D :D

disclaimer; i don't mean any of what was written, just trying to keep the joke going.

I try not to recommend my own mics! But I'd recommend you cram one of them up your butt! Make it the tube, so the glass breaks on the way in! Enjoy a lifetime of hemorroids! :p

yes, i've noticed you don't try to sell your mics on here.

they look like they would fit in nicely, with that neutrik jack all nice and tapered off.

what a crazy thread SOMEONE has created..

Honestly, I doubt that you would, you miserable worm, my stuff sounds very tame by comparison. Besides, I'm no expert and never said I was, you fabricating dog lackey of the imperialist metal machine. I'll listen to a few more tunes down the list. That style just isn't my thing, you lecherous swine. I can admire the disgusting but immaculate production and the technical facility, but overall it leaves me cold. But that's just me.

I prefer to mix loud, using an RP-200 calibrated set up and no gain reduction (0 dB relative to -20 dBFS pink noise producing 83 dB SPL at the mix position). You probably turn down 6 dB to 9 dB even when mixing and compress your mix into submission, you unwashed heathen, and then compress your apocryphal drivel some more when mastering.

Ha! Funny hearing someone who's not vulgar trying to be. Like the movie, Babe, when he runs up to the herd of sheep and says: "Move! Move!!!! you...... you.... ..........butt-heads" [followed by sheep laughing].

There's a certain inescapable charm to those who are by nature polite.
