I'm pretty glad I found a forum like this. I have a feeling I'll be usin it a lot.

Before I ask any questions lemme tell you what I've got so far and what musical direction I have.

Gear:
windows xp pro
lambda lexicon sound card
fl studio 9 producer edition
AKAI Mpk49 usb MIDI keyboard
2 Fender FM 212R amps
a base amp acoustic b200
a basic mic (standing next to the amp for guitar recording)

acoustic guitar
ESP ltd electric guitar (drop d tuning)
Shecter electric guitar
Ibanez base guitar (drop d)

BOSS pedals:
MD-2 PS-5 PH-3 DD-7

Music styles interested in making:
Industrial
Electronic
Rock

So before I explore the dephts of this forum because I have a LOT to learn,
anyone got any beginners advice / welcoming words for a new member?

OK. Actually there's about 20 characters, but they're white...so you can't see them. I don't know why anyone would want to, but that's how you do it.

I thought about how I could do it for about 10 minutes then I just typed 8 dots ah la:

Then I went and changed the colour to something that wasn't so visible...I think it was white.

Then I posted it and sat back for about 15 minutes and admired what I had done.

I don't know the OP (opening poster) that well...so I thought I would be somewhat cagey.

Yup..... all prison inmates need therapy once they get out!

You have to look up our state motto to know what's going on with it for it's taken out of content. Live free or die: Death is not the worst of evils......the opening line of an address sent to the anniversary reunion of the battle of Bennington From General John Stark New Hampshires own.

There are a lot of songs written about our state motto the funnest deals with a prison mate going through the states and the mottoes he could be punching out but he did his crime in NH and punches out "Live free or die."
