WOW! SOME RESPONSES, GREAT!
Thanks so much for listening. With this being my first recording with this brand new guitar (and also being within the 30 days of my return-policy.......) i was curious to see how it came across.
i was seriously considering taking it back, but honestly, i've been still auditioning other guitars, and haven't found anything else that i like better, except for the ones that are at least a thousand dollars more....!

good luck with your tube mp, i'm sure you'll find the sweet spot with it, just do a lot of experimenting.... then post it!

thanks for the complment.... the mic position was basically at soundhole level, i was sitting with the mic on the end of a boom right in front of me, and i just kept twisting left to right til i heard a nice tone coming through the headphones......not very scientific, i know........ i guess it was a little off axis, coming from the tail end of the guitar towards the neck a bit.....

dead horse, huh? might i suggest, well, i don't know what to suggest!!! LOL..........
i got very close to the mic, in fact, on the outro part, with the little lead playing at the end, you can here the end of my pick making noise on the fretboard, so maybe you should try putting the mic as close as you can get it, and really play around with the compressor settings.. in fact, try to set the 58 up without the compressor first, then go back and add the compressor in so it sounds transparent............

that's very kind of you. it is a little different than my other stuff..... HA! that'd be "has a penchant for noise......"
LOL
thanks again for all comments.
