hi, i'm jarik. i'm new to this site and new to the whole entertainment thing. right now, i'm training as a stage manager for my friend, who works for a big sound company. so i get to go to major shows, mtv stuff and whatever. he's teaching me now to use the Yamaha DM2000, which i'm having a hard time getting use to. oh yeah, i'm also an event planner.

cheers,
jarik

Welcome to the Home Recording BBS!

Do you have aspirations to record someday? If so, you'll find a wealth of information here - althought you can't search right now.

The Yamaha DM2000 looks like a SWEET tool. You'll have to pop back in and let us know what you think of it.

i really don't know what i wanna do yet. i'm working from the bottom. but i'm being taught to use the DM2000, its a beautiful thing. takes a long time to get use to it. i'm still having a hard time.

analog ones are easier to use, but i'm still learning the DM2000. it's awsome, there are just too many options to remember. mixing isn't hard, i don't know... it's hard to explain. beats me how my boss figured the thing out in 2 days. now he loves the board, it just looks so easy for him.

now, setting things up from scratch is a bitch. i don't even do it, so it's hands off for me. but things are a little easier with the memory card and all.
