That's what's up Fieva, I love them tracks that bring out emotions. That one makes me feel like puttin on some black gloves, with my hat pulled low, to go out and handle some covert business. A crime story no doubt. Here's a suggestion, find some sound fx like gun shots, cars screeching off, and sirens and throw them behind the track.

Reason on the instruments with a self created drum kit over 2 gig in size and getting bigger by the minute like a fat kid with $1000 in his hand ordering off the dollar menu.
That's what's up!
I have no clue how to use chop up sh*t....I don't even know where to begin to get a drum pattern like you got in that cut. HELP A BROTHA OUT!!!!!
My 2.5 is F'd up but 3.0 is in the mail so I wanna be down (ala Brandy)
What I am really missing is the ill drum patterns, I don't know how to do it. Once I get that going I can build a library like you got. I play Keys with no prob, and my Son is ill on the bass, so I can dub over Reason tracks.....I'll be Pming you!!!!!! Or you can Pm me first.....

my aim is fievacontagious hit me up.

I just play with the sounds I have and make it work. Basslines are the easiest thing for me to do so I either do them first and let the beat shape around it or I do it in the middle of making the beat if I have an idea in my head of a couple of melodies and then use the drums to help shape that. Usually it works out, sometimes I sit there with nothing but drum loops. I still keep em around because I might mess with them later.

Very rarely do I do that MJ. I feel it limits the track when you do that. Now say if an artist wants to buy it and says "Hey could you throw on some explosions and make it sound like a war going on in the back" then I put that to work and let it fit in. I have sold beats before that I saw one way and the artist had a totally different thing he wanted to do with the beat. He flipped a straight gangsta type beat into a r&b track about catchin' his girl cheatin'. I didn't think about that until then.
