an early single release from the next bats brew album called "Singularity"
i hope you enjoy it.

used my new Tele build to cover the rhythm guitars, a fun track to play.

Very nice - love the Telecaster Rhythm sound - what is the lead Guitar? Also did you cover all the Rhythm with the Telecaster? What amps were you using?

hey papnate! yea, this tele, it was an experiment, body is Catalpa.
a luthier/friend put it together for me.
i'm using a Strymon Iridium for all of this, including the bass.

the two rhythms are both telecaster, and the solos are a custom strat:

so the rhythms, are (L) marshall super lead, set cleanish, thru a york audio 4x12 cab (kerry wright with greenbacks), pushed with a Barber Direct Drive Super Sport.
(R) rhythm is tele to Vox AC30 thru a york audio Creamback 2x12 cabinet, pushed by a REVV G3 pedal. same setup, amps are set fairly clean, with a touch of breakup, then the pedals do the rest.

bass was thru the marshall super lead head thru a york audio AMPEG 410 cab, split and multed with the direct output from a Sansamp Bass DI.

solos were the strat (Bill Lawrence bridge 500L) thru the Barber DDSS into the marshall set crunchy, and different cabs, tho i don't remember which ones.

the drum parts, i've been thinking,
there are a couple of areas where i can simplify the drum parts, and it will still work as designed..

so i'm going to edit the drum parts in about 3-4 key places, and make those sections just 'straight drive' a bit...

Dang, man what can I say...LOVE IT! You always kill it on guitar, but also your songwriting, vocals , bass playing, drum arrangements are all top notch! It's not fair one guy can do it all so well :ROFLMAO:! Your guitar playing really is inspirational and takes me back to the days when this kind of rock ruled!

hey thanks stratmonkee!
i appreciate the comments for sure,
i'm glad to inspire, really, that's a gift to me to say that, so thanks.

bumpin' for the weekend,

for any of you rockers that need to gnash teeth. :)

That’s quite impressive with so much going on. Kinda reminds me of Zappa
I probably would just bump that vocal up a hair but that’s just me. I can’t even imagine creating a song like this. Ima gonna put it on my Spotify playlist.
Cheers. Guy

hey frank!
thanks for listening

the drums are superior drummer 3.
the kit is from the "Rooms of Hansa" recording studio.

they are real drums, actual recordings, triggered by midi signals.
i write most of my drum parts starting with the supplied loops, then i edit them heavily.

You've done a great job programming them. I had SD for a while but tbh i struggled to process the more raw samples (in Fields of Rock especially)...so I reverted back to EZD which is mostly just setting levels and minor EQ. Maybe i'll go back and revisit SD at some point once i get better at mixing
