hi all, i want to upgrade my head phones. can any one give me some suggestions?

What are you planning on driving them with?
Do you need sound isolation? AKG 271 MK11's are not bad in my experience, but might not suit your application.

I have a pair of Shure SRH440's and they are brilliant for monitoring and mixing due to their flat frequency. Sennheiser HD25's can't go wrong with those either!

i own a pair of sony mdr7506 and a pair of sennheiser hd 280 pro. both are used for recording tracks,and listening to v drums. just bought my first vocal mic so i was thinking would it help getting a pair just to record vocals? budget wise i would like to stay under 2 hundred.

I use the AKG's for vocal recordings as they don't allow much to escape, I don't recall hearing my mix spilling into a vocal track while using them, they are also very flat sound-wise. If you hear a wart it's on the track and not the cans grunting. 2 hundred what? dollars, pounds, euro's, cents ?
