currently when i record vocals i use my 15 dollar sony behind the head heaphones...i love these headphones for recreational listening because i just find behind the back to be the most comfortable and easy to wear under my long hair....this is fine for recreational listening, but when i record vocals the sound from these things bleeds into the microphone.... i was wondering if there were any cheap/decent headphones that i can look into for recording that wont bleed.

how about the sony MDR-V150 Studio Monitor Series Headphones for 20$?

if not, any ideas? i dont want 200 $ headphones, just something that will be decent to record with and not bleed into my mics.

thanks for the suggestion, do you know about those sonys i listed though? are they closed/isolated enough, will they bleed?

I did a quik search on those and they LOOK closed back.

If you can spend $100, get te MDR 7506's
Loud as hell and good isolation and everybody has been using them for years.*

*(thats me NOT saying "industry standard" :p
