Morning guys,
I am a keyboard player and experimented a bit with logic before on my macbook. I used a scarlet interface before but it did not work well, so I quit the whole thing…
Now I want to restart the recording, playing piano/keyboard with another vocalist. I have no audio interface anymore, only a keyboard with midi and usb connection.
I want to record us both at the same time, which means I need 2 headphones? Most interfaces have only 1 headphone output. Does anyone have experience with a setup like that? Of course I would need another interface..

Don't worry about having 2 headphone jacks on the interface. You can get a Behringer MicroAMP HA400 for $20. Get a good interface with a midi input. A MOTU M2 or M4 are good, and have both audio and midi inputs. A Universal Audio Volt 2 is similar. Both are current models and should have decent support.

get a headphone splitter, like this

Thanks for reply :-) cluld I just connect keyboard/interface via USB? Any advantage of connecting via midi? (Not planning do shift single midi notes afterwards) recording via USB is audio signal or also midi?

Using the USB for midi shouldn't make a difference vs the interface. Midi signals should be handled separately from audio signals, and I'm guessing that with the Mac, you can easily set up the USB Midi to feed to your DAW. Midi signals are not audio. The audio signals are from the microphones.

I just prefer having devices all going to the same point, although I very rarely use midi. I'm not a keyboard player, so it's mics on a guitar for me.

Those will work, but you can't adjust levels separately. Last week, when I was with friends playing, we had 3 different types of headphones and the levels were all different on the headphone amp. For $20, its money well spent.
