Headphone amp thru snake...

Is it feasable to send a headphone amp signal through a 100ft 24gauge snake? I don't know if a stereo headphone signal is balanced, and if it's not I wouldn't think that it would survive a 100ft + journey without some loss in amplitude.

Or, is this a pretty standard way of sending headphonesignals?

Or, should I just send the unamplfied signals through the snake and put the headphone amp the same room with the headphones?

Your best bet would be putting the amp in the room it will be used. Then the performer can make adjustments without bugging you.
