hd24 fan noise

hi again,
does anyone out there has fan noise on the hd24.their got to be a way to silance this thing,beside a long drop off a clif.i know someone has to incounter this same problem. pleez-pleez help.

Is the fan noise included on your rec'd tracks or are you hearing a line-hum thru your monitoring system?
I have no problem with fan noise on either the HD24 or my power amps.

Could you rundown your setup?
 
FAN NOISE

NO NOISE IN MY RECORDED TRACK,JUST WHEN I POWER UP THE UNIT THE POWER SUPPLY FAN IS REALLY NOISEY.I READ ONLINE OLD ARTICLES WHEN THE HD24 FIRST CAME OUT ADOUT FAN NOISE.I WANT TO KNOW CAN THE POWER SUPPLY FAN BE REPLACED WITH A QUITER ONE. THANKS
 
You can attempt to disengage the fan from the source internally but you would have to replace with another cooling unit! The fan is strategically plced so that optimum cooling can be had!
Also check your cabling connections. Do you have cables running near the unit's power and cooling source?
 
fan noise

with no cables near or connected to it,the fan is still noisey.thats what i wanted to know if the fan can be replaced it a quiter fan.if this don't work,i'll figure out something. i only use the hd24 for basic recording and then bounce to cubase sx & houston for mixing & editing. thanks man for the help............peace
