I would also like to have you folks give me some feedback on a song I finished. I used ntracks to make the mp3 with bladeec I think its called. I've heard it sucks, but can't figure out any other way. I know how to listen to mp3's. I logged onto Juston.com and tried uploading the song, its about 9GB big and after about an hour, I noticed that it stopped uploading the file and gave me a refresh button to press, which made me believe it got screwed up.
Anyone have any ideas why it won't let me send an mp3 to my site on Juston? How long does a song usually take to upload to your sites? I am using a regular 56K internet connection.
Thank you.

Well guy, a 9GB file is going to take you about a year to upload. Did you mean a 9MB file? Even then, it is going to take a lot of time. You may have a server time out setting, or the file is bigger than the server will allow. Try encoding at a lower rate to decrease the file size to something that someone might actually download, like around 3-5MB's.

Good luck.

9 GB: That's about 4 weeks on a 56K line.
An overnighter even on a cable connect.

But 9 MB is only about 40 minutes on that same 56K line. I just checked this out myself on Netzero.net, certainly not the premiere service on the planet, but tonight they blew Pacific Bell right out of the water. Nothing but noise on the $20/month line; somewhat sluggish service at no charge at NetZero.

Don't be afraid to do a long download on a slow connect. I've pulled huge files down over the phone using the slackman's technique. Do it while you sleep.

OOOpppy dooooopy. Yeah, its not that big. I did mean 9MB. You are probably right about the server timeout part too. I've been looking and can't find out if I can change that part, but I will try a lower rate and see how that works. That would have been quite a long song.
Thanks.
