Havnt recorded in a while, hows this?

I was thrown a bit by the voice until I realized it was a female vocal... I wasn't expecting that!

The vocals are buried in the mix, a little hard to understand.
 
I like the hard driving guitar sounds. The vox needs to be brought up..a lot, same with the bass in my opinion. Maybe you have a sub on your monitoring system that is making you think there's too much bottom end....been there, done that. The snare could use some production but it's good to hear it. I tend to bury my snare..lol

Not sure why the link is not working for some, seems to be an issue with lightningmp3.com sometimes. Anyway, its funny, the i think bass is a problem where i mix, so i need to resolve that either with my space, my monitors or both. As far as shte vocals, i think there TO loud, i guess its just personal taste. i personally like vocals to be a little bit on an even keel in harder music, if they are to up front it lends itself to pop.
