Oh well, I only know what I've learned from Cypress Hill. We don't have a very large latino presence here in Maine.
So who the hell does all your body work and lawn care?

French Canadians...?
Oops, sorry rami.
Really? How are they with a hedge trimmer? Wait, do plants even grow way up there? I picture maine as an icy tundra with a carpet of arctic moss everywhere.![]()
Nah, man. It's pretty lush in the southern half of the state. A nice mix of sun and rain. The north is pretty flat and barren though with not much but farmland going on. We have to mow our lawns once a week like everyone else (well, probably not you 'cause I bet it dries up all Summer). That is May through Sept. though...the rest of the year is pretty much as you describe it above.
French Canadians here actually dominate the limber industry. If you go on logging roads up north all you hear is French.
They're kind of the only sizable ethnic group in what is otherwise a very homogenous state here, so growing up, that's who everyone made fun of. Stupid and mean, but there you go. We tend to be very progressive and liberal on race issues perhaps in part because we have few actual race issues to deal with ourselves.
Yup, snow and ice pretty much blows.
I drove across Texas on I 10 once and really loved it. Your area in particular felt like a tropical rainforest by comparison to the deserts of the West and the plains in the middle. I really enjoyed the trek from Houston to New Orleans.
Fall is a big deal here...tons of tourists. I don't get it. Leaves die, they change color, they fall. Blah, blah blah.
I love the hill country right out side San Antonio. All that area between San Antonio and Austin. All the way out to Canyon Lake. Lots of great camping out there. The fishing is a little slow, but it's fun just having a line in the water and a cold beer. That's being home to me![]()
Yeah I want to move somewhere out there when I get old and spend my days chillin' in that beautiful scenery.
That could be nice, although I personally don't think it's that beautiful. Sure I think it's beautiful for Texas, but it's kind of meh compared to many other areas of the country.
yeah but I'm from SA. So, it's like the best place in the world to me. Home is Home![]()
Lol. I guess anything is better than the rio valley.
