Yeah. The bass isn't very present. VERY soft sounding bass. Almost sounds like an upright?

Very close. Fretless 5 string Cort Curbow.

The acoustic sounds OK. I think replaying the bass would be the ticket or live with the soft bass. Apples and oranges

That's sounding very nice-I like the acoustic guitar backing a lot on this song. I saw John Hiatt several years back with his band the Goners-with Sonny Landreth on slide and lead-and John did his vocal and keyboard version-your vocal is much smoother by far.
Like others have said, the bass is too low to give the track the drive it needs-hope to hear it with EZDrummer when you are ready.
Carry on-it's sounding good..

I gave it a shot this afternoon. Somewhere down the line, the tempo got a bit off. Looks like there's some clean up ahead.
