Hello forum!
My name is Andre and this is the first time I show one of my songs to anybody although I´m recording music since a while. I dont quite know which genre this could be so I call it indie Anyway it would be nice if you checked out my song and gave me some critics. Thank you for watching.

That's not a song dude. It's 3 minutes of fingers snapping with a little bass line and keyboard. It sounds good for what it is, but a song? No. Is it something I would want to listen to for fun? No. It didn't really seem musical either. I'm not insulting it, it was good, but include what I said above and that's what I think about it.

So what are you missing? Not enough lyrics? Or the typical verse, chorus, verse, chorus... structure? Or more instruments?
And I dont really understand what you mean with "It didn't really seem musical". It would be nice if you could go more into detail. Thank you.

Music has instrumentation, melody, harmony, and some kind of structure. It was just fingers snapping and some kind of beat created, by the time you add the techno stuff it's just the same thing over and over again.

Even if it was just an instrumental there wasn't very much going on. Not enough to keep anyone entertained.

As far as sound goes it was fine, but as far as music goes it was very unmusical.
