Has anyone tryed out this mixer?

I was going to buy the Behringer XENYX 1002B.
Is it any good? I am a newbie to recording, so would it be a good solution?
I am going to have 2-5 microphones overall (guitars, singing, drums)

What will you actually be recording into ? How many inputs does it have ? Will you be recording everything at once ? Reason I ask is that you may not need a mixer at all. I use a Behringer Eurorack UB 1832 and the main reason for that is that in recording the drums, I could be using up to 9 mics but my recorder only allows me 6 inputs at once recording. So the mixer proves useful in miking some of the drums. It's also useful because I can use it's preamps to record acoustic guitars elsewhere in the house. But if I absolutely had to, I could exist without it. Hence the question.
