My prediction: fifty cents on the dollar of what you'd get on eBay.
 
I haven't tried it yet, but if I was going to sell something, I don't see what the harm would be in asking them for a quote.
 
I filled out the thing for 5 guitars. We'll see what they respond with.

Hell, I'll give you like $237.48. In fact, I'll give you an even $300 store credit. You just ship everything, then I'll mail you a $300 "certificate" to my umm...store...yeah, that's it.
 
Well, here's my story. Last year, I had just heard about the TICO thing, so I tried it by requesting a quote for a Fender Standard Strat, which I had bought from MF in 2003. I had purchased it as a Flamed Maple Top guitar, "limited edition" for $349. It had little or no use, so I tried asking for a $250 to $500. They offered 250. So far, so good. They sent me a pre-filled UPS form, since they pay fro the shipping (NOT THE PACKAGING). I sent the instrument for evaluation. A couple of days later, a guy from TICO calls me saying that the instrument was not a Flamed Maple Top, but a "Quilted Maple Top" and this model was worth much less than the FMT. That they had made a mistake in the catalog. Not only that. The instriument "arrived" with a couple of dents on the finish, which affected the selling price. So, they could only offer $109. Of course, I did not take it, and if I had known better I would've had taken legal action. But I didn't have all the evidence. My advice, It's not worth it. Try e-bay or anything else...
 
And the lowball offers and BSing isn't the half of it--just check out what they are trying to sell this used stuff for. Even the most useless local stores never tried to get 90% of their new price for used stuff.

They must have hired the people that run this program from Craigslist ads.:rolleyes:

What do you expect?They're dealing with petulant musicians who are always a new toy away from reaching musical nirvana.For most of us the coolest toy we have is the next one we're gonna get.:D

It's harder to wade through MFs website these days with all the used gear cluttering up the searches,I wish they had a filter for that and scratch and dent.

There's a chain called Music-go-Round that specialises in used equipment and lot's of times their prices are higher than new if you don't know your prices.
