after a quick review this is the best spot for this question but i'm probably wrong.
i've got a delta 44 soundcard and a eurorack mx 602A mic pre-amp. i used to directly plug my monitors into the OUTS on the delta breakout box, and i'd put the 'main outs' on the mic preamp in the INS on the delta breakout box. it works great - no lag whatsoever when using NI guitar rig. however, i know there has to be a better way to do it because i can't control the volume coming out of the monitors except by adjusting volume control in the recording program which is wrong. otherwise i blow out my speakers every time i forget to turn down the mains in the software.
so i'm thinking i plug the monitors into the 'main outs' on the eurorack, and run the breakout box in and outs through the phono 'tape in/outs' on the eurorack. i'd have to buy phono to 1/4" adapters which is a pain in the a$s in manila, so i thought i'd write to double check in the mean time.
the other question i had involves the NI drum program, battery 3. has all the little squares in the middle representing all the drums parts, which sound great, but i have no idea how to program them? can anybody give me a hint? you'd think it'd be the main feature of the program but i can't find it.
