Hardware help for 1st time Podcaster.

Hello Everyone,

Glad i found this forum.

I'm about to start a simple podcast supporting people with Cystic Fibrosis. I don't have a large budget and am trying to figure out what i need.

I will basically be recording myself however might add another guest at times in the same room as me, but mainly guests will be over skype.

I have looked at getting either the M-Audio Fast Track Pro or the Behringer X1204USB. As my starting point.

I'm looking for comments or suggestion on either of those or something similar. As i mentioned my budget is small at around $200cdn. The mic is being donated to me and it's a Shure SM58 (i think that's the model).

The Fast Track Pro is an excellent choice but not so the Behringer gizmo. (and I'm a Behringer fan so just being honest)
There's also a Samson all-in-one microphone/interface for around $100 which is Ideal for pod casts.
I'll look it up for you.
