Hard Rock song...

Hey everyone...I just finished recording a song of mine and am hoping you would be interested in checking it out....everything was recorded and mixed by me on a Roland VS 1680.. The song was written by me and all the instruments (Drums-Guitars and Bass)and Vocals where performed by me...

Everything sounds pretty good. ok, I meant it all sounds really good. I think that there is too much low end in the kick and toms, but other than that, I wouldn't change anything.
 
Hi Brandon - Cool song and your voice rocks! Love it! I like the feel, style, lyrics, melody, just about everything. The only thing that kind of bugged me was something with the drums. Don't know what it is, because I don't know drums very well, but there's a hit at every quarter note in certain parts and it seemed too much - maybe too loud, maybe the tone too high or thin? Can't explain it really well (maybe high hat?), but it almost distracted me from the song for some reason. Totally just my opinion, but it seemed the drums were a little too loud overall for my ears.

Great song and you've got a killer voice. Thanks for sharing!

Hey, I think its fucking amazing stuff, really like the attitude of the song. Also the mix is very good and the musical part also fits perfectly. I really can't find anything to improve. You have an excellent voice, I really would like to have your voice in one of my songs :-).

Really rocks and full of positive energy. Great guitar playing and a killer voice. I like the drums way in front the way they are. My only critique would be that the mix sounds a bit distorted, but I don't know if it was intentional. Maybe you didn't leave a lot of headroom before slapping a limiter or compressor on it? Still a damn good song though, wish to hear more. ;)

I should probably say that this isn't the style of music that I would normally listen to, but I don't mean that as a criticism at all. Regardless of style, your performance is excellent. The mix is great--it's punchy and full of energy. The vocals sound awesome. The arrangement is interesting.

I think this is some excellent work.
 
Dude, well done. Very good playing. Some neat guitar playing. Some neat drumming, some neat bassing.... Very catchy. Something I would hear on the radio. And something I'd listen to again....
